Goodbye, Gauntlet!

Almost two weeks ago, I posted here saying that I would not be able to post here for the next week or so due to a thing everybody here likes to call "gauntlet." Well, folks, that is over, and blog posts can start appearing once again! Over the past week, I have made so many friends. They're all a lot of fun, and I look forward to growing closer to them while I am here. Before I got here, many people here were working on a music video with their Newsboys for their song "That's How You Change the World". Last week, I got to go through the video multiple times, and looked for mistakes. I know that doesn't seem really exciting, but it was for me! Towards the end of gauntlet, I and everyone else in the Writer/Producer/Director track did workshops with Doug Rittenhouse, our director. The guy is a awesome. Really. We got to hear a lot about he got into the business last night, and what it was like. We then talked about budgeting and all of the different aspects of that. It was definitely one of the best times of the week! Sunday morning, I found out that I was given a $2,500 donation for my tuition here! God is good! I am very close to becoming fully funded for the next two years. I'll be working with the interactive texting program with which everyone in the around will be able to send texts to us that may very well end up on the screens on stage. I'm looking forward to it!
